relatable statement
Hey, I’m Anika. It’s so good to meet you!
I’m a Personal Trainer and Mum to a cheeky and energetic toddler. A bit more about me:
I’m very sporty and outdoorsy. I played competitive football for years, and I’m now getting more into Trail running and hiking, especially with the little one tagging along!
Being a total sun worshipper, I’m embarking on my home-making era in an effort to make friends with Winter. Lots of soup. Bit frugal. Definitely wearing a fleece.
Lifting weights and being in nature is my peace, but I thrive on in person, deep and genuine connections to keep me fired up. I absolutely love my job and the people I get to work with!
Oh, and how could I forget? Coffee! I love trying new cafes and posh coffee brands (yes, I’m a bit of a coffee snob)
And I’m very silly. Too silly. Dad jokes. Inside jokes. It’s the best (only) way to be!
So, what makes me different?
I’m super nerdy about all things movement but my priority, always, is to make sure my teaching lands with each and every client, so you have the tools to take care of your body forever.
I don’t believe in “dumming down” exercise for women or the postpartum period.
We work hard, we get strong, and we unlock the kind of athletic and resilient body that can do all the things that inspire you without compromising just because we had babies.
And most of all, I believe that with the right support and environment, Motherhood is not a hinderance to getting fit and staying healthy. Done right, it can be the ultimate advantage.
Why do I say that Motherhood can be the ultimate advantage in fitness, if you let it?
Simple: the drive to do better.
The drive to be able to keep up. The drive to model healthy habits so you can handle everything that life and parenthood throws at you. And, the smarts to do it efficiently and with respect to your precious time, energy and personal values.
